This is my go to method for making Yucca Fries. Very simple and easy to make. In my opinion, these are the closest to ‘real’ potato Fries, or Frites.


  • 1 Yucca
  • 1tsb Olive Oil
  • Sea salt and Pepper

Preheat oven to 450F

Peel the Yucca. Cut in Half. Slice in to the shape you prefer. I like a thick steak cut fry, it also holds up well with the consistency of the Yucca.

Place Yucca friest on a cookie sheet, drizzle with oil, salt and pepper to taste. Cook till golden brown or to your desired taste. At least 10 min.


You can also change these up by adding some cayenne pepper or chipotle pepper. Try some different things!
